2016 in Review

2016 was a busy year!

We saw the introduction of Stuv, Bell Fires, and Focus Fireplaces. As well as the Big Green Egg.

With all the change-outs we do, our showroom gets a lot of wear and tear; so we painted our showroom and re-finished the floors.

On to the Fireplaces!

Our electric units got a lot of attention; well-deserved attention. Electric fireplaces aren’t at all what they used to be, they can feature an array of media option, and LED lighting with all kinds of colour options. Most feature a contemporary linear design, but we do have electric inserts, fit to go into an existing wood firebox.

The reason electric units are so popular is because there is so much versatility in where they’re installed – which is great for condo owner’s, and homeowner’s who don’t want to do a complete renovation.

Another option for easy installation are EcoSmart ethanol fireplaces, they’re ventless, clean-burning, and can be moved (certain models only, some heavy lifting required) if you want to change your layout.

For gas products, our more popular items were inserts. There were a lot of people updating their homes, and they knew that a gas fireplace insert is the best way to do it. A new fireplace can completely change the look of a room, and if you’re not sure what style you want to define your space with, you can never go wrong with a traditional log set and contemporary front.
