Important Product Standards Announcement
Architects, designers and builders can now feel 100% confident in recommending EcoSmart Fire products to their clients.
After two years, EcoSmart Fire has finally secured official ULC approval for the Australian-made EcoSmart Fire product line. Vancouver Gas Fireplaces has been the leading supplier of EcoSmart Fire products for the last few years in B.C and is thrilled to share this announcement with you.
As a result of this announcement, the ULC approved EcoSmart Fire products now include:
EcoSmart Fire has decided that they cannot wait another year for the UL body to set up ULC testing standards so they will submit the remaining products to a Canadian company, Warnock Hersey, for certification. The products EcoSmart will be testing for registration in Canada will be the Burner One Kit and the 650 SQ Firebox. These items will be tested in July 2008 and the results for apporval are expected September 2008.
EcoSmart Fire is the only product of its kind that is both UL / ULC approved. Based on the standards that are now in place all EcoSmart products can be sold providing Vancouver Gas Fireplaces lets you know which products are ULC approved and which products are not ULC approved.
